LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Lewis arrested Nikki Reed age 36 of London on Thursday night October 31, 2024 at approximately 7:15 PM.
The arrest occurred on Willow Branch Road, approximately 3 miles north of London after Deputy Lewis was dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Lewis noted observing a female subject sitting in the middle of the road screaming.
The female subject then stood up and ran to the side of the patrol vehicle striking it before running off on foot in the direction of multiple juvenile kids trick-or-treating.
Deputy Lewis gave chase and apprehended the female subject without incident determining she was under the influence.
Nikki Reed was charged with:
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
- Fleeing or evading police – third-degree
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
- Indecent exposure second-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
