Teenager Airlifted and 2 Adults Arrested Following a Wednesday Morning Injury Crash on I-75 in Laurel County, Kentucky

LONDON, KY (July 1, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy James Fox arrested two individuals early Wednesday morning June 30, 2021 at approximately 3:06 AM.

The arrests occurred off I–75 approximately 10 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to an injury traffic crash there.

While enroute to the scene deputies were advised that a maroon colored Pontiac Grand Prix was on its top and that the three subjects that had been in the vehicle had fled the scene on foot.

Deputies were able to locate all three individuals nearby and conducted an investigation determining that the driver and two passengers were under the influence.

Deputies noted detecting the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the three and possible injuries from the crash.

The three individuals were identified as:

Charlotte Partin age 29 of Carter St., Woodbine, KY charged with:

  • Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • Failure of nonowner operator to maintain required insurance – first offense

Robert Lee Larrison, JR age 36 of Dayton, Ohio charged with:

  • Alcohol intoxication in a public place
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • Giving officer false identifying information

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

A third individual - A emale subject age 18 of Dayton Ohio was found to have a skull fracture and neck injuries and was flown to UK Medical Center for treatment and has been cited to Laurel District court charged with:

  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • Alcohol intoxication in a public place
  • Giving officer false identifying information
