MANCHESTER, KY (July 30, 2021) - The Clay County Sheriffs Office is reporting that on Friday, July 30, 2021 at approximately 2:30 PM Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson along with Deputy Dewey Grubb, Deputy Jared Smith, k9 Deputy Wes Brumley along with K9 Ghost arrested James Duvall, 51 of Owenton.
The arrest occurred at a business parking lot off of South Highway 421 when Sheriff Robinson located the above mentioned subject passed out behind the wheel with a marijuana joint in his mouth.
Upon further investigation, K9 Ghost (right) indicated on the vehicle at which time more illegal narcotics were located.
James Duvall, was charged with:
• Public Intoxication of a Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
• Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
• Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree
