LONDON, KY (August 24, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy Landry Collett, Deputy James Sizemore, and Deputy Tommy Houston arrested three individuals early Tuesday morning August 24, 2021 at approximately 3:34 AM.
The arrests occurred at a motel off West Cumberland Gap Parkway while deputies were conducting a drug investigation.
During the investigation three individuals were found inside a room there along with:
- Suspected Methamphetamine
- Suspected Heroin
- Pills
- Digital scales
One individual there had to be administered Narcan due to possible overdose.
The three arrested individuals were identified as:
Jeremy Dennis Gregory age 27 of Paynes Branch Rd., Hinkle, KY charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – Methamphetamine
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first offense – Heroin
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – second-degree – first offense
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Trafficking in legend drug stash first offense
- Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
David Nick Wynn age 35 of Middlebrook Rd., London, KY charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Ryan A. Helton age 34 of Highway 830, Corbin, KY charged on a Laurel Circuit Court indictment warrant of arrest charging:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of Marijuana
A Knox District Court warrant of arrest charging:
- Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle – first offense
All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
