MANCHESTER, KY (November 7, 2021) - On Friday, November 5, 2021 Judge Allen B. Roberts made the trip to the Kentucky State Capitol in Frankfort and filed to seek another term as District Judge for Clay, Jackson and Leslie Counties.

On Friday, in a statement via social media, Judge Roberts said "It has been an honor and a blessing to serve as District Judge for the past seven years. My goal today remains the same: to be a faithful servant to all the citizens in the 41st Judicial District and to carry out the duties of District Judge with humility, integrity and wisdom".

Allen Roberts ran for election to the 41st District Court in 2014.

Roberts was successful in the primary on May 20, 2014, receiving 40.0 percent of the vote. He competed against Stella B. House, Richard Couch, and Monica Rice-Smith.

He defeated Monica Rice-Smith in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 58.5 percent of the vote.

Currently, Allen B. Roberts is District Judge of the 41st Judicial District, Division I in Kentucky, which presides over Clay, Jackson and Leslie counties. He was elected in 2014 for a term commencing on January 5, 2015, and that expired on January 6, 2019.

From 1995 until his judicial election in 2014, Allen B. Roberts ran a private law practice in Manchester, KY.
