LANCASTER, KY (December 27, 2021) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP), Richmond Post, has been requested by the Garrard County Police Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred shortly after 10:30 P.M. on Sunday, December 26, 2021 in Garrard County.
KSP Post 7 Troopers and Detectives responded to the scene on Herrington Way in Garrard County.
The subject was transported to University of Kentucky Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
KSP Post 7 is conducting the ongoing investigation.
The Garrard County Police Department, Lancaster Police Department and Garrard County EMS assisted KSP at the scene.
