LONDON, KY (January 20, 2022) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Bailiff Dennis Gilbert Arrested Jeffrey Paul Smith age 51 of London on Wednesday afternoon January 19, 2022 at approximately 1:00 PM.
The arrest occurred in London after this subject was charged on a Laurel Circuit Court indictment warrant of arrest charging:
- Attempted murder
- Wanton endangerment – first-degree
- Assault – first-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
