LONDON, KY — The London Police Department has been receiving reports of individuals receiving text messages from the Kentucky State Department of Motor Vehicles regarding tickets.
We want to encourage our citizens to be vigilant for these types of scams. We, nor any other official entity will reach out via text message regarding these types of matters. Official correspondence regarding these types of matters are sent through the mail along with information for an official office on how to resolve the issue.
