Man wanted on Arrest Warrant from Laurel County taken into Custody in Manchester, Kentucky

MANCHESTER, KY (January 29, 2022) - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on Monday, January 24, 2022 at approximately 2:20 PM Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones along with Deputy Trent Baker arrested Felix Cottrell, 47 of Cottrell Road.

The arrest occurred when Deputies were dispatched to a complaint to assist Clay County Animal Control.

Upon arrival on scene, Deputies came into contact with Felix Cottrell, the above mentioned subject that showed an active Warrant of Arrest out of Laurel County.

Cottrell was arrested on the warrant and lodged in the the Clay County Detention Center. 

This individual was later transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center where he's currently being held on a $1000 CASH bond with a court date set for 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 7, 2022.

Felix Cottrell is charged with:

  • TERRORISTIC THREATENING, 3RD DEGREE
