SOMERSET, KY - Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck is reporting the arrest earlier this week of a Pulaski County resident for selling more than 2 grams of Heroin.

Eligah Roscoe Cooper, age 25, of Parkers Mill Way in Somerset, KY was arrested after Lieutenant Daryl Kegley of the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, Narcotics Division, served a search warrant on Cooper's apartment on Monday, April 25, 2022, at 4:20 PM.
Lieutenant Kegley, Sergeant Branson Patterson, Deputy Trent Massey, and the Lake Cumberland Area Drug Task Force were able to locate two (2) baggies, one baggie contained a brown, powdery substance consistent with Heroin that weighed approximately 20 grams, and the other baggie contained an unknown white substance that weighed approximately 36 grams.
Digital scales and empty baggies were also located, which is consistent with the sale and use of illegal drugs.
Also seized during the search warrant was $2,256.00 from the person of Cooper.
All evidence and money seized were logged into the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office Evidence Room. The suspected drug evidence will be submitted to the crime lab for analysis.
Eligah Cooper, who was home during the search, was charged with:
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd, or Greater Offense – (more than 2 Grams Heroin)
Cooper was transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center, where he remains lodged as of this press release.
