LONDON, KY (January 4, 2023) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler along with Deputy Byron Grimes arrested April Danielle Smith age 27 of London while assisting DCBS (Social Services) on a complaint.
During the investigation deputies determined that allegedly April Smith had sold a large amount of prescription Alprazolam pills to an individual.
April Smith was charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
