HUSTONVILLE, KY – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that on Friday, February 10, 2023, just before 4:00 P.M., Kentucky State Police, Post 7, Richmond, received a call from Bluegrass 911 requesting investigative assistance stating two individuals had been shot at a residence on Moccasin Road in Lincoln County.
The reliminary investigation indicates Jamie Fowler, 51, was shot by Steven Hiter, 52, before turning the weapon on himself.
Both were pronounced deceased at the scene by Lincoln County Coroner Ferris Marcum.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 7 Detective Storm Stevens.
He was assisted on scene by KSP personnel, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, and Lincoln County Coroner's Office.
