LONDON, KY (March 4, 2023) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler along with Deputy Stephen Walker arrested Juanita M. Wagers age 61 of Hawk Ridge Road, London on Thursday evening March 2, 2023 at approximately 5:30 PM.
The arrest occurred off Robinson Road, approximately 1 mile north of London after this subject was charged on a Kentucky Parole Board parole violation warrant charging absconding parole supervision and failure to attend treatment for substance abuse regarding a conviction in Laurel Circuit Court on charges of:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense
In addition, following arrest this subject was found in possession of suspected Methamphetamine, and Xanax.
Additionally Juanita Wagers was charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
- prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
