CAPTURED: Two Wanted Fugitives Taken into Custody at a Business on Highway 790 in Pulaski County, Kentucky

SOMERSET, KY - Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones is reporting that on April 1st, 2023, two Pulaski County fugitives were taken into custody.

On Saturday evening, Deputy Noah Wesley and Deputy Dylan West responded to Highway 790 on a report of two males exiting the wood line in the area of where an earlier pursuit occurred and two males ran off into the woods.

The report further stated a van gave the two males a ride. The Wayne County Sheriff's Office responded to the area to assist.

Wayne County Deputies conducted a traffic stop of the van and discovered the subjects had been dropped off at Southern Express gas station on Highway 790.

Deputies responded to that location and encountered Jonathan Charles Ramey and Gregory A. Coots Jr., the two individuals that ran from Law Enforcement twice in the last ten days.

Coots was found cowered down behind the counter and was taken into custody without incident.

Both men were taken into custody on the outstanding warrants with additional charges expected.

Sheriff Jones would like to thank the concerned citizens that assisted in apprehending these dangerous criminals by contacting Law Enforcement.

Sheriff Jones would also like to thank the Wayne County Sheriff's Office for their assistance.

All of these cases are still under investigation and more details will be released in the coming days.
