Driver Arrested in London, Kentucky after Failing in Attempt to Kick Meth Underneath Car

LONDON, KY - The London Police Department is reporting that: A driver who tried and failed to kick a plastic bag of suspected Methamphetamine under his car was was arrested at 1:35 A.M. on Wednesday, March 5, 2023. 

London Police Cpl. Cody Faulconer, assisted by K-9 Ofc. Jonathan Jackson arrested Justin Lee Snow, 19, of Laurel River Church Road, London, KY for driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.

According to Cpl. Faulconer’s report, he was dispatched to Austin Lane in reference to a suspected impaired driver. He observed a vehicle that matched the description park sideways in a parking space.

Upon contact with the subject, Snow got out of the vehicle and retrieved a small plastic bag from his pocket. He dropped the bag on the ground and tried to kick it under the car, but missed the kick.

The bag landed directly beside the driver door. It contained suspected Methamphetamine.

After failing several field sobriety tests, Snow was arrested and transported to the the Laurel County Correctional Center.

Justin Snow was charged with:

  • DUI
  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Tampering with physical evidence
  • Instructional permit violation and other traffic charges

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
