LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Skylar McFarland along with K-9 Deputy Brian France arrested John Hart age 41 of Corbin on Wednesday night June 21, 2023 at approximately 10:10 PM.
The arrest occurred off U.S. 25 approximately 8 miles South of London after this subject was charged on a Knox Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging no bond regarding a charge of:
- Theft by unlawful taking – firearm
- Theft by unlawful taking $1000 or more but under $10,000
In addition, John Hart was charged on a Knox Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging no bond regarding a charge of:
- Persistent felony possession of a firearm
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
