WILLIAMSBURG, KY - The Whitley County Sheriff's Department reported on Wednesday June 21, 2023 that on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, Deputies investigated two collisions.
In both collisions, Deputies conducted an investigation that determined an individual involved was driving under the influence.
Also during the shift, Deputy Jarrett Carr conducted a traffic stop and a subsequent investigation determined the operator to be under the influence.
The Whitley County Sheriff’s Office will continue a Zero-Tolerance policy on DUI enforcement.
Brandon Moses age 41 of Corbin, KY was arrested following a collision and charged with:
- Multiple traffic offenses and a DUI
Angela Moore age 54 of Williamsburg, was arrested following a traffic stop and charged with:
- Multiple traffic offenses and a DUI
Tracee Byrd age 53 of Williamsburg, was cited following a collision for:
- DUI and other traffic offenses
Byrd was cited due to injuries sustained from the collision.
