LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Keera Asher age 22 of Keavy on Wednesday afternoon July 26, 2023 at approximately 2:59 PM.
The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart's loss prevention team detained this subject.
Upon arrival at the scene, Deputy Houston conducted an investigation and learned that allegedly this individual attempted to conceal and leave the store without paying for items valued at $203.35.
Keera Asher was charged with:
- Theft by unlawful taking – Shoplifting
This individualwas lodged in the Laurel Correctional Center.
