LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston arrested James Zeo age 46 of Corbin, KY on Wednesday afternoon July 26, 2023 at approximately 2:02 PM.
The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart's loss prevention team detained this individual.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Houston conducted an investigation and learned that allegedly this individual had attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise valued at $17.98.
James Zeo was charged with:
- Theft by unlawful taking – Shoplifting
This individual was transported to and lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
