LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen arrested Emanuel Lee Hoskins age 49 of London on Saturday night August 5, 2023 at approximately 8:54 PM.
The arrest occurred off Escape Way, approximately 7 miles west of London after Deputy Allen was dispatched to a complaint of an apparent intoxicated subject there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Allen noted observing a male subject in a vehicle in the ditch there. An investigation was conducted and the occupant was determined to be under the influence.
Upon arrest the occupant fled on foot and following a short foot chase and a struggle with Deputy Allen, the suspect was taken into custody.
Emanuel Hoskins was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot
- Menacing
- Resisting arrest
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
