MAYFIELD, KY – According to the Kentucky State Police, a Mayfield man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after a Graves County Grand Jury indicted him for multiple sexual offenses.
In early August, Kentucky State Police received reports from multiple individuals accusing Paul West, 53 of Mayfield, of sexually abusing them when they where children.
State Police investigators initiated an investigation into the allegations and on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 testified before a Graves County Grand Jury.
The Grand Jury handed down multiple indictments to include:
- Two (2) counts of Unlawful Transaction with a Minor 1st Degree
- Five (5) counts of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree (victim under 12 years of age)
Each of those offenses are felonies.
West was also indicted on two misdemeanor counts of:
- Voyeurism

Paul West was arrested at his home on Wednesday afternoon and lodged in the Graves County Jail where he posted bond soon after.
