LONDON, KY - On Friday, December 15, 2023, Laurel County Sheriff John Root asked the public for help with identifying an individual wanted in connection with multiple cash thefts using the identity of a local individual.
The Laurel County Sheriff's Office reported that the wanted suspect had all the personal identifiers of the local victim. According to an LSO flyer, a $2,500 reward was being offered for information leading to an arrest.
On Thursday, December 21. 2023, the London Police Department reported that the London Police Department Investigations Unit, in collaboration with local agencies, has successfully identified a female involved in multiple fraudulent check cases across Kentucky.
