MANCHESTER, KY - The Manchester Police Department reports that on Thursday, January 18, 2024, MPD Officer John Root arrested a Manchester man on multiple offenses.
Manchester PD Officers Root and Carr were on patrol and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that resulted in an arrest for numerous charges.
After an investigation the accused, identified as Robert T. Wooton, age 56 of Manchester, KY was taken into custody and transported to the Clay County Detention Center.
Robert T. Wooton was charged with:
- POSSESSION OF HANDGUN BY CONVICTED FELON
- TRAFF IN CONT SUB, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFF - (< 2 GMS METHAMPHETAMINE)
- POSS OF MARIJUANA
- POSS CONT SUB, 3RD DEGREE - DRUG UNSPECIFIED
- TRAFF IN CONT SUB, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFF - (< 4 GMS COCAINE)
This individual was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center. He was booked into the facility on January 18, 2024 at 3:19 AM, where he remains lodged at the time of this publishing.
