LONDON. KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston and Detective Taylor McDaniel have charged Franklin Collins age 41 of Manchester, KY on an arrest warrant obtained by Deputy Houston.
The warrant followed an investigation regarding the reported theft of a skid steer in Laurel County on Friday, February 2, 2024 in southern Laurel County and charged:
- Theft by unlawful taking ten thousand dollars or more but under 1 million
Collins was arrested in Clay County and brought to Laurel County and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

- London City Police Detective Gary Jordan.
The skid steer has not yet been recovered.
