DRY RIDGE, KY (February 28, 2024) - The Kentucky State Police (KSP) would like to make the public aware of a scam occurring in the KSP Post 6, Dry Ridge area.
Subjects are contacting people asking for donations using the phone number 859-428-1212 which is the phone number for KSP Post 6, Dry Ridge.
KSP Post 6 serves: Boone, Bourbon, Bracken, Campbell, Grant, Harrison, Kenton, Nicholas, Pendleton and Robertson County.
During the call, the individuals are also identifying themselves as members of the Kentucky State Police.
KSP will not contact anyone on the phone, from any number, and request payments or monetary donations.
If you receive a similar call, please do not provide the caller with any personal or financial information.
