LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Willard Rucker age 48 of Williamsburg, KY on Thursday night March 7, 2024 at approximately 8:37 PM.
The arrest occurred off KY 312 approximately 15 miles South of London after Deputy Roberts was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject passed out in his vehicle.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Roberts located the suspect and awakened him determining that he was under the influence.
This individual stated he had done meth earlier in the day.
Willard Rucker was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
Rucker was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
