LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested William Jackson age 61 of Manchester, KY on Friday afternoon March 15, 2024 at approximately 2:07 PM.
The arrest occurred on Hal Rogers Parkway approximately 9 miles east of London after Deputy Roberts was dispatched to investigate a non-injury two vehicle traffic crash there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Roberts conducted an investigation and determined that the driver of a blue colored GMC was under the influence.
This individual was found in possession of prescription drugs not in the proper container.
William Jackson was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
