LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Andrew McKinley age 24 of London on Saturday night March 31, 2024 at approximately 9:44 PM.
The arrest occurred on North McWhorter Street in London following a traffic stop conducted by Deputy Roberts on a silver Chevrolet Colorado being operated by Andrew McKinley.
Allegedly the vehicle had an off road light bar illuminated, improper colored headlamps and only one tail lamp lit.
During the stop, the driver was determined to be under the influence.
Andrew McKinley was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Vehicle headlamp/tail light color violations
- Glaring headlights
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
