MILLARD, KY – Kentucky State Police Post 9, Pikeville was notified of a two-vehicle fatal collision in Pike County at approximately 9:50 p.m. on June 12, 2024. The collision occurred on US 460 in the Millard community of Pike County.
Upon arrival and through investigation, troopers discovered Clinton Justice, age 68 of Pikeville, KY was operating a 2013 Ford Edge when his vehicle struck Eric Justice while riding his bicycle.
Clinton Justice fled the scene, but was located and arrested a short time later.
Eric Justice was pronounced deceased on scene by the Pike County Coroner’s Office.
As a result of this investigation, Clinton Justice was arrested and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center on the charges of:
- Leaving Scene of an Accident
- Operating Motor Vehicle under the Influence
- Vehicular Homicide when under the Influence.
The investigation is ongoing by KSP Accident Reconstructionist, Trooper Matt Smith.
