LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Cyruss McVey along with K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Marshellia French age 53 of Corbin, KY on Wednesday night June 26, 2024 at approximately 8:06 PM.
The arrest occurred off Level Green Road, 10 miles South of London while deputies were in the area assisting the Laurel County Constable's office on a complaint of a woman running through a field screaming.
Upon arriving at the scene deputies conducted an investigation and determined that this individual was under the influence.
Marshellia French was charged with:
- Intoxication – controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
