LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Reed arrested Ronnie Norris age 70 of Corbin on Wednesday night July 31, 2024 at approximately 7:10 PM.
The arrest occurred off Robert E Cox Road, approximately 9 miles South of London after Deputy Reed was dispatched to a drug complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Reed located the suspect and conducted an investigation where he located this subject in possession of a glass pipe and suspected methamphetamine.
Ronnie Norris was charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree offense - methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
