LONDON, KY - London City Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting that on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 at approximately 5:22 p.m., LPD Detective Wes Wolfe arrested Justin Lee Chambers, age 43 of London, KY.
A vehicle, operated by Chambers was observed by Detective Wolfe make several traffic violations on KY-192 and a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle.
Through the course of the investigation, Detective Wolfe uncovered a large amount of suspected Methamphetamine from Chambers' person.
The contraband was seized, Mr. Chambers was placed under arrest and later transported to the Laurel County Detention Center.
Justin Chambers was charged with:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (>or= 2 Grams Methamphetamine)
- Resisting Arrest, and various other traffic violations
Chambers was lodged in the in the Laurel County Detention Center.
