LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Reed along with Deputy Justin Lewis arrested Brandon Michael Thompson age 46 of London on Friday night August 16, 2024 at approximately 10:07 PM.
The arrest occurred off Todd Road, approximately 11 miles southeast of London after deputies were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a 911 hang-up call at a residence there. The dispatch center informed responding deputies that there had been prior complaints at that address.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies located a male subject outside and learned that there had been a disagreement between two individuals there and that one individual had left the scene.
During deputies investigation the male subject there, Brandon Thompson was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Brandon Thompson was charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
