LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Cassandra Miller age 40 of Corbin on Saturday night August 31, 2024 at approximately 7:58 PM.
The arrest occurred off Cassidy Road, approximately 8 miles west of London, KY after Deputy Roberts was dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to investigate a single vehicle traffic crash involving a gold colored Ford Taurus on Cassidy Road.
While enroute to the scene Deputy Roberts was notified that apparently the driver had left the scene of the crash on foot.
Following an investigation by Deputy Roberts the driver was located in the vicinity, an investigation was conducted and she was determined to be under the influence.
Cassandra Miller was charged with:
- Leaving the scene of an accident
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
