LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Lewis arrested Treva Chappell age 36 of East Bernstadt on Monday night the 23rd 2024 at approximately 9:10 PM.
The arrest occurred on Hensley Road approximately 6 miles north of London while deputies were investigating a disturbance complaint there.
Deputies located a female subject staggering down the roadway on the unlit highway and determined through investigation that she was under the influence of suspected methamphetamine.
In addition, it was learned that this individual was wanted on an active outstanding warrant. It was also determined that allegedly this individual had been involved in a verbal disagreement and had allegedly pepper sprayed another individual.
Treva Chappell was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Carrying a concealed weapon
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Wanton endangerment – second-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
