LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Reed arrested Candi Mangum age 44 of Gray, KY on Thursday evening October 31, 2024 at approximately 4:21 PM.
The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Deputy Reed was advised that Walmart staff had observed a female subject open a box and discard it.
Further investigation determined that earbuds were missing. The earbuds were recovered from the female subject there and she was arrested.
Candi Mangum was charged with:
- Theft by unlawful taking
This individual was lodged in the Laurel county Correctional Center.
