LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Michael Carroll, age 37, of London on Sunday night November 10, 2024 at approximately 7:54 PM.
The arrest occurred on I–75 at exit 29 approximately 10 miles South of London after Deputy Roberts was dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a complaint of a male subject on the ramp there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Roberts noted detecting a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from this subject and determined that he was under the influence.
Michael Carroll was charged with:
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
