LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen along with Deputy Nate Bishop were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a complaint of a male subject standing in the roadway on old Whitley Road approximately 2 miles South of London on Saturday night December 14th, 2024 at approx.. 9:10 P.M..
When deputies arrived at the scene, they located the male suspect in a ditch there and noted detecting a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from him.
An investigation was conducted and the suspect was identified as Larry Truitt age 41 of London, KY who was determined to be under the influence and arrested at the scene.
Larry Truitt was charged with:
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
