LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that the Laurel County Drug Interdiction Task Force comprised of the Laurel County Sheriff's Office, HIDTA, Knox County Sheriff's Office, and London City Police with assistance from Kentucky State Police arrested 17 individuals on a drug roundup following several months of investigation into illegal drug trafficking in the area.
More arrests are expected. With charges ranging from Trafficking Meth, Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession of Meth and Possession of Hydrocodone.
Those arrested were identified as:
Judy Collins age 63 of Sowders Ln., London, KY charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – methamphetamine
Teddy Kirby, age 56, of Love Rd., London, KY charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – fentanyl
- Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Ricky Turner, age 31, of o Johnson Rd., London charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
Erica Mullis, age 34, of W. 1st St., Corbin, KY charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – fentanyl
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Crystal Watkins Age 36 of Bull's Branch Rd., East Bernstadt, KY charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Charles Wayne Asher, age 45, of Shepherd Rd., East Bernstadt, KY charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Robert Farra, age 43, of Cornett Chapel Rd., Annville, KY charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – third offense-methamphetamine
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – hydrocodone
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
Chasity Brock, age 40, of Laurel River Church Rd., London, KY charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – third-degree – first offense
Tommy Ooten age 46 of Nazareth Hill Rd., London charged with:
- trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
Matthew Dean Becknell, age 33, of Barbourville Rd., London, KY charged with:
- Trafficking in marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Kelly Dawn Smith, age 52, of West Osborne Ln., London, KY charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Daniel Hatfield, age 46, of KY 233, Gray, KY charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – hydrocodone
- Possession of a controlled substance – second-degree
David Collins, age 49, of Downey Hill Rd., Manchester, KY charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
Andrew LaRose, age 40, of Highway 3440, Barbourville, KY charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense
Larry Wayne Turner, age 38, of cripple Creek, Rockholds, KY charged wth:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Donna Bays, age 51, of Powers Branch Rd., Bryant's Store, KY charged with:
- Conspiracy to traffick in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Brittany Yaden, age 36, of Spring Branch Dr., London, KY was arrested along with the following 12 suspects in the roundup. She was charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first offense – fentanyl

In addition, the task force has outstanding warrants and are seeking the following individuals regarding this drug roundup:
Joshua Gambrel, age 36, of KY 770, London, KY on charges of:
- Attempted trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
Brian Hubbard, age 60, of Ravenwood Cir., London, KY on charges of:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – oxycodone
Ashley Mosley, age 37, of VanZant Road, Lily, KY on charges of:
- Conspiracy to traffic in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
Chelsea Cawood Graham, age 34, of Mount Zion Rd., London, KY on charges of:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first offense – fentanyl
Donnie Messer, age 60, of Sinking Creek Rd., London, KY on charges of:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
Tim Miller, age 53, of Highway 1232, London, KY on charges of:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
Arrested individuals were lodged in area detention centers.
