RICHMOND, Ky. (July 3, 2019) –The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Irvine Road (KY-52) near Bybee Loop Road in Madison County just after 1:50 PM Tuesday.
The initial investigation indicates that a 2008 Maroon Toyota Highlander, operated by Kimberly Isaacs, 35 years old of Irvine, KY, attempted to make a left turn into a driveway just east of Bybee, KY, when it collided with a 2011 Gray Toyota Camry that was traveling east, operated by Farris Marcum, 57 years old of Irvine.
As a result of the collision, Farris Marcum was transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital with injuries, and his passenger, Donna R. Marcum, 56 years old of Irvine, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Madison County Coroner.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 7 Troopers Gary Cooper and David Hobbs. They were assisted at the scene by KSP Personnel, Madison County EMS, Madison County Fire & Rescue, and the Madison County Coroner.
