MANCHESTER, KY (December 4, 2019) - Clay County Cooperative Extension Service upcoming programs for December, 2019.
♦Winter Wonderland will be December 12th at the EXCEL Building from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. Come have your child’s picture made with Santa. We will have a craft and coloring pages for the kids and will be serving cookies. We will also have a volunteer read a Christmas book to the children. We have held this event now for several years and it has become very popular. FREE and open to the public.
♦Diligent Diabetes Demonstration will be on December 16th at the Clay County Extension Office from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. The Clay County Health Department and the Cooperative Extension Service are presenting a session for diabetics, pre-diabetics, or individuals interested in learning more about diabetes. Tammy Pennington and Lora Howard will be presenting the program. FREE and open to the public, but please call 598-2789 to register.
♦2019 Cow - Calf Profitability Conference will be Tuesday, December 17th from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Laurel County Extension Office, 200 County Extension Rd, London, KY. Cow-Calf profitability Conferences are one day, intensive seminars focusing on key topics for beef producers. Conferences are delivered by UK Agricultural Economics Extension through Kentucky Beef Network funded by the Kentucky Agriculture Development Board. Lunch will be provided, so please pre-register by calling our office at 598-2789 for a food count.
