MANCHESTER, KY - On New Year's Eve, December 31, 2024, Clay County Sheriff's Office units were dispatched to AdventHealth in Manchester following the report of a gunshot victim. The victim, Clarissa Wagers, arrived at the ER with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Upon arrival, Deputy Sgt. Wes Brumley interviewed Wagers, who stated that Amanda Roark had visited her home, leading to a verbal argument.
