LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's shift Sgt. Travis Napier arrested Brandi Lewis, age 27, of Lily early Thursday morning February 27, 2025 at approximately 4:40 AM.
The arrest occurred off Lily Road, approximately 4 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to a complaint that a male subject was allegedly attempting to enter the complainant's residence and take her hostage.
Upon arrival at the scene an investigation was conducted and it was determined that this was a false report.
In addition, it was learned that this individual had apparently phoned in complaints previously that were also determined to be unfounded.
Also, it was learned that this individual had contacted Kentucky State Police on a complaint that was determined to be unfounded.
Brandi Lewis was charged with:
- Falsely reporting an incident
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
