LONDON, KY - London PD is reporting Mandatory Evacuations have been issued for previously affected areas 6:00 pm -11:00 pm (could be extended). Everyone needs to be out of these areas by 6:00 pm. This is a safety concern due to high winds and flying debris which can become projectiles.
This is meant to save lives. We have three locations for shelter set up in conjunction with the American Red Cross.
- London Community Center (529 S. Main St., London, KY)
- First Baptist Church (804 W. 5th St., London, KY)
- West London Baptist Church (360 Parker Rd, London, KY)
These shelters are for everyone, not just those in the previously affected areas.
