LONDON, KY — Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Drug Interdiction Unit Justin Taylor along with Deputy Noah Ritchie arrested Brody Keith Williams, age 33, of Laurel River Rd., London on Wednesday evening July 9, 2025 at approximately 7:02 PM.
The arrest occurred on KY 1223 approximately 8 miles South of London while deputies were investigating a noninjury traffic crash there. Deputies were investigating a crash involving a black Dodge Durango that had no insurance, a busted windshield and the driver operating on a suspended operator's license. In addition, the driver, identified as Brody Keith Williams of London, KY was determined to be under the influence. During arrest this individual was found in possession of suspected fentanyl.
Brody Williams was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- No registration plates
- Obstructed windshield
- Operating on suspended or revoked operator's license
- Failure of owner to maintain required insurance – first offense
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – fentanyl
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
