On December 16, 2013 the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, assisted by units from KSP Post 3 in Bowling Green and agents with Homeland Security Investigations, arrested an Allen County man on charges related to child pornography.
Bradley Shearer age 25 of Scottsville was charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor- 1st offense. He was lodged in the Allen County Detention Center.
The arrest was the result of an ongoing Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigation by the KSP Electronic Crime Branch. Detectives began investigating in July after they discovered a suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online. The majority of the images depicted the sexual abuse of children who were less than 14 years of age.
A full forensic examination of the evidence is pending and the investigation is ongoing by Det. Josh Lawson.
