(LONDON, KY.) – On Wednesday, February 11, 2015 Kentucky State Police Post 11, London served numerous arrest warrants on subjects in Laurel County.
The warrants were issued as a result of a five (5) month long investigation into illegal drug activity.
Arrested were:
1. George Lewis, 47, of East Bernstadt, KY charged with three counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st offense.
2. Ray Cornett, 65, of London, KY charged with two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st offense and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st offense.
3. Jaren Cornett, 23, of London, KY charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree and two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree.
4. Donald Bowling, 55, of East Bernstadt, KY charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree.
5. Shirley Wilson, 34, of East Bernstadt, KY charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree and two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree.
6. Edward Howard, 45, of East Bernstadt, KY charged with two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree.
7. Conley Gay, 63, of London, KY charged with two counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree.
8. Lynn Francis, 58, of London, KY charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree.
All eight individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center. Additional arrests are expected.
