Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested two individuals on Adams Road, approximately 10 miles south of London early Tuesday morning August 9, 2016 at approximately 12:05 AM.
The arrests occurred after Sgt. Parrott conducted a traffic stop on a tan colored Honda Accord for tail light violation.
During the traffic stop Sgt. Parrott determined that both the driver and passenger were under the influence. Sgt. Parrott located marijuana, scales, rolling papers, and a glass pipe in possession of the occupants. In addition, as the investigation continued Sgt. Parrott learned that both the driver and passenger were parole violators with outstanding warrants on file.

In addition, this subject was charged on a Kentucky parole violation warrant charging absconding parole supervision; failure to pay court-ordered child support; and failure to report to parole officer as directed regarding convictions in Laurel circuit court on a charge of manufacturing methamphetamine and flagrant nonsupport.
The passenger:
**The driver and passenger poured Jim beam whiskey over the back seat of the police cruiser.
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
