Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Josh Scott arrested Jeremy Fiechter age 25 of Britton Ln., Corbin early Tuesday morning September 13, 2016 at approximately 8:29 AM.
The arrest occurred off Britton Lane, approximately 10 miles south of London after Deputy Scott was dispatched to a domestic violence complaint there.
When Deputy Scott arrived at the scene he learned that a female victim had allegedly been hit in the face leaving a visible handprint on the right side of her face.
The suspect was located hiding in the woods behind the residence and was arrested without incident.
Jeremy Fiechter was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence. In addition, this subject was charged on a Metcalfe County bench warrant of arrest charging failure to comply – failure to pay regarding a traffic violation. In addition, this subject was charged on a Pulaski County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on numerous traffic violations.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
