Dayhoit, Ky. –On September 30, 2016 at 8:12 p.m. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 received a call reporting a motor vehicle collision on KY 3152 in the Dayhoit Community of Harlan County. Tpr. Jacob Spurlock responded to the scene.

The operator was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

The operator was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision by Harlan County Deputy Coroner Jim Rich.

Collision is still under investigation by Tpr. Jacob Spurlock.

Also assisting at the scene were KSP Sgt. Danny Caudill, Harlan PD Officer Justin Luttrell, Loyall PD Officer Mitch Alford, members of the Harlan County Rescue Squad and members of Johnson’s Lifecare.
